Structural steel construction is a common method for using building materials. When in use, it is essential to address daily fire safety measures. Below, we look at how surface insulation can be enhanced in structural steel projects, which can be cast or sprayed. The cast-in-place concrete pad for surface insulation is typically reinforced with steel mesh or building steel to control shrinkage gaps and ensure tensile strength of the shell. The spraying method allows for the application of a protective layer directly on the surface of structural steel projects in the construction site using a mud-sand pump, which can be made of lime powder concrete or finish plaster, and may also include ceramics or asbestos. Alternatively, the surface insulation can be made from ceramics, asbestos, plaster of Paris, or asbestos concrete, lightweight concrete, and then formed into cement预制 boards. The lightweight coatings also provide aesthetic design and decorative value, making them part of modern fire safety measures. As the demand for high-rise steel structural buildings grows, especially for certain high-rise structures, the use of steel materials has become more widespread. In the event of an accident, fires in high-rise buildings are not easily extinguished, necessitating enhanced fire safety maintenance of decorative materials during architectural design to increase their fire resistance. Furthermore, it is crucial to establish response measures within the construction to minimize casualties and property damage.
