Enamel-lined equipment involves applying a high-silica porcelain glaze to the surface of a metallic iron substrate, then firing it multiple times at approximately 900°C to ensure the glaze adheres tightly to the iron base. As a result, it boasts the dual benefits of glass-like chemical stability and metallic strength. Enamel-lined equipment is widely used in industrial production and scientific research across various industries, such as chemicals, dyes, organic synthesis, petroleum, and food manufacturing, for processes including reactions, evaporation/condensation, synthesis, polymerization, saponification/sulfonation, chlorination, and nitration, replacing stainless steel and nonferrous metal equipment.
Corrosion Resistance: Highly resistant to various concentrations of inorganic acids, organic acids, organic solvents, and weak bases. However, not applicable to strong alkalis, media containing fluoride ions, or at temperatures above 180°C and concentrations over 30% for phosphoric acid.
Impact Resistance: The mechanical impact resistance index is 220 x 10^-3J; avoid hard impacts during use.
Insulation: The porcelain surface has undergone rigorous testing with a 20KV high-voltage test.
Thermal Resistance: Withstanding rapid temperature changes, cold shock at 110℃ and hot shock at 120℃.
