Glass-lined equipment is internally lined with glass. In cases where improper human operation or stress issues lead to glass-lined equipment cracking, it may be necessary to return the equipment to the factory for relining to save costs. However, this does not mean the equipment can be continuously relined and reused. If any of the following points are present in the glass-lined reaction kettle equipment, it should be immediately scrapped:

During the hydrostatic test, there was significant deformation or the deformation amount of the glass-lined reactor exceeded the national standard规定的value.
2. Local wall thickness corrosion of the pot or jacket exceeds the smaller value specified by the design, and the corroded area is greater than 20% of the total area.
When excessive defects (such as: severe structural defects that threaten safe operation,不合格welds, severe incomplete welds, cracks, etc.) are present and cannot be repaired.
4. The glass-lined reaction vessel or jacket wall exhibits uniform corrosion exceeding the smaller value specified by the design.
When alkali brittleness or intergranular corrosion is severe, and cracks in the kettle body or welds cannot be repaired.
Note: After the equipment is returned to the factory for re-enameling, due to the reduction in base material thickness, the equipment should be operated at a reduced voltage or used as a storage tank after repair.
