Section 2: Construction Methods
Clean walls to ensure they are smooth, dry, and free of oil stains.
2. Calculate the floor layout, mark the lines and drill holes, install the joists with a spacing of ≤800mm. When installing the joists, ensure they are level, with an error kept within 1mm. Secure the joists using M6 galvanized expansion bolts with a spacing of ≤500mm. Apply waterproof construction adhesive to all contact surfaces with the wall to ensure the stability of the joists.
3. Install the flooring, lay the line to secure the first piece, and fix it to the waterproof joist using cross-head self-tapping screws. The screws must be flush with the board surface. Insert the next piece of flooring into the mating groove of the first piece, leaving a 1mm expansion joint.
4. The edge was finished, with the flooring laid to the last piece, secured using 4x40mm flat-head self-tapping screws from the surface. The edge trim was installed with 30x12 wood strips laid horizontally, fixed onto the substructure with 4x40mm flat-head self-tapping screws.
5. Floor installation completed, surface stains cleaned.
