Hydraulic control valves should be installed horizontally. When installed horizontally, the valve cover should face upwards. A drainage facility should be provided after the pressure-reducing valve in the fire water supply system. When a pressure-reducing valve is required in an automatic sprinkler fire suppression system, it should be set before the alarm valve (in the direction of water flow), and a redundant pressure-reducing valve is not necessary when配套 with a single alarm valve. When配套 with multiple alarm valves, a factory-provided pressure-reducing valve should be installed. Pressure-reducing valves used in hot water supply projects should be of the hot water type.
The hot water supply project using a dry pipe dry pipe recirculation method (semi-recirculation method) should have the same pressure reducing valve settings as the cold water project; for hot water supply projects using a vertical pipe recirculation method (full recirculation method), the pressure reducing valve settings should prevent damage to the hot water recirculation, and the pressure at the convergence points of each zone's return pipes should be balanced.
