In response to the storage concerns for anti-corrosion steel pipes, many of you might have questions about this. Today, let's delve into the storage issues of anti-corrosion steel pipes and see what's inside, as we follow the editor together!

Inspection requirements for the appearance of anti-corrosion steel pipes upon incoming and outgoing inventory:

① Conduct a thorough inspection to ensure the surface of the polyethylene layer is smooth and slippery, with no dark blisters, pockmarks, wrinkles, or cracks, and the overall color should be more even. The surface of the pipe material should not exhibit excessive rusting.

② The bending degree of steel pipes should be less than 0.2% of the pipe length, and the ellipticity should not exceed 0.2% of the outer diameter of the pipe. The surface part of the entire pipe material should have a maximum depression or protrusion of less than 2mm.

2. Be mindful of the following points for the transportation of anti-corrosion steel pipes:

① Loading and Unloading: Hoists that do not damage the pipe openings must be used, and the protective coating must not be impaired. All construction machinery and equipment must comply with regulations during loading and unloading. Before loading, the pipe's protective grade, material, and wall thickness should be checked in advance, and mixing should be avoided.

② Transportation: Proper push blocks should be set between the trailer and the cab. When transporting anti-corrosion pipes, they must be securely tied down and protective measures for the anti-corrosion coating should be taken promptly. Rubber pads or some soft materials should be used as cushioning between the anti-corrosion pipes and the chassis or columns, as well as between the pipes themselves.

What are the storage standards?

①Pipe, fittings, and valves should be stored properly according to the instructions, and attention should be paid to regular inspections during storage to prevent rust, deformation, and aging.

② Materials such as glass cloth, heat shrink tape, and heat shrink sleeves require storage in dry, well-ventilated warehouses.

③Materials such as pipes, fittings, and valves can be categorized for outdoor storage. The chosen storage site must be flat, free of stones, and should not have standing water on the ground. The slope should be between 1% to 2%, with drainage ditches.

④ Corrosion-resistant pipes in the warehouse are stacked in layers with a structured pile, ensuring the pipes maintain stability. Stacking is separated by specifications and materials. Soft pads are placed between each layer of pipes, and two rows of sleepers are laid under the base pipes. The spacing between the stacked pipes should be greater than 50mm.

⑤ During on-site construction, storage requirements for piping materials: Use two support pads at the bottom, with a distance of approximately 4m to 8m between them. The anti-corrosion pipe should not be less than 100mm from the ground. Flexible barrier materials should be placed between the support pads and the anti-corrosion pipe, as well as between the anti-corrosion pipes themselves.

That concludes the various storage standards for anti-corrosion pipelines. Thank you for your careful reading.
