Due to the intense sunlight and high temperatures this summer, plants experience significant water evaporation, necessitating timely and adequate water supply. To prevent root damage to plants from watering during hot days, we have scheduled daily irrigation between 4:00 and 10:30 AM and after 6:00 PM, when temperatures are relatively cooler. We water all plants in the green areas once a day, ensuring thorough and sufficient irrigation; for newly established green spaces, we water twice a day, early in the morning and late in the evening, ensuring each tree is watered from top to bottom and each leaf is sprayed.

Proper watering is crucial for the maintenance of outdoor plants during the summer. The effectiveness of drought resistance is directly related to the method of watering. Mingchuan Flower Technology staff introduce that there are generally three types of drought-resistant watering methods: watering after loosening the soil, rain-like watering, and digging trenches and building embankments for watering. Sloping land is suitable for the third method, and if it's difficult to build embankments, watering holes can be dug near the roots. For shrubs with shallow root systems, if it's hard to loosen the soil and dig holes, rain-like watering can be used. "Slow watering, small amounts, and extended periods" is the three-word mantra for summer plant hydration. After a thorough watering, it can be done again every 3 days.
