When using industrial brushes to clean machines, people often encounter the issue of bristles falling out. This is due to improper use of the brush, leading to widespread bristle shedding. Many people assume that this is because the brush quality is subpar, causing excessive bristle loss. This perspective is incorrect; excessive bristle shedding is not necessarily a sign of poor brush quality. It could be that we are not using the industrial brush properly.
Before using industrial bristles, our ancestors would soak the brush in warm water for a short period, not too long, just a few minutes. The bristles become very smooth after soaking. After soaking, remove the brush from the water and gently comb the bristles with your fingers to remove any loose or about-to-fall-out bristles. This prevents excessive bristle shedding during future use. Additionally, it's important to clean the brush promptly after use to avoid bristle hardening, which makes the brush uncomfortable to use and ineffective. If the brush pad isn't oiled, a warm water wash is sufficient.
Next is the storage issue of industrial bristles. Do not leave the brushes in the sun, as it can cause the bristles to age. Choose a fixed storage location for good brushes for easy use.
