The principle of the gas spring support rod is essentially the same as that of the traditional ordinary support rod. Both are products that store energy internally. As is well-known, springs can perform work through their elastic force, while gas spring support rods can move the piston rod within the cylinder by compressing and rebounding the gas stored within them, thus enabling the door to open and close. Therefore, the sealing performance of the energy-storing support rod in the gas spring support rod actually determines its service life.


The primary requirement for gas spring support rods is their ability to generate rebound rate or lifting force. Occasionally, due to certain reasons, these support rods may deform, so we should exercise caution to prevent any deformation of the controllable gas spring support rods.

The shape of the adjustable gas spring support rod changes during the heat treatment process. As it heats up, different parts of the support rod reach varying temperatures, and when subjected to uniform force, the gas spring support rod will deform. When the temperature stabilizes, the support rod will deform due to the even distribution of heat.
