In a Tianjin enterprise's outdoor steel storage area, heavy-duty telescopic cantilever racks have been installed and put into use.
This storage area was previously used for open-air steel stacking, but the company has upgraded its management. This traditional method is not only outdated but also leads to rust and deformation of the steel. Stacking it on the ground creates a chaotic site. Therefore, storing on racks is more standardized. Given the outdoor storage environment, the use of telescopic cantilever racks is not suitable for outdoor placement. As a result, retractable canopies were utilized, with canopies built over the rack layout area. This not only protects the steel from exposure to the sun and rain but also allows for the use of outdoor cranes, making it easier for cranes to access the telescopic cantilever levels of the racks. After being placed on the racks, the space is better utilized, increasing storage capacity, and the site is also kept neat and orderly.
