1. Light weight capacity
Generally, the volumetric weight of such products ranges from 550 to 900 kilograms per cubic meter, with a density of over 500 kilograms per cubic meter, its weight is only 1/4 that of clay bricks and 1/4 that of normal concrete. It is an ideal lightweight material for high-rise, ultra-high-rise, and large-span structural buildings. Using it can reduce the self-weight of buildings to 1,000 kilograms per cubic meter or less, which is a reduction of 3/5 to 2/3 compared to traditional building materials, thereby lowering the cost of construction.
2. Processable
These products are somewhat similar to wood, offering strong utility for home construction. They can be sawed, planed, drilled, and nailed, facilitating construction work and allowing for on-site operations.
3. The aerated blocks have strong compressive strength.
According to relevant tests, the compressive strength of the aerated blocks exceeds 25 kg/square centimeter, equivalent to that of No. 125 clay bricks and sand-lime bricks.
4. Gas-blocks withstand high temperatures
Autoclaved aerated concrete experiences a slight increase in compressive strength below 600°C, with its compressive strength approaching that at room temperature when the temperature is around 600°C.
