    I. Overview:

    The FZH Series Flame Detectors are a new generation of intelligent instruments that integrate light, machinery, and electronics. The product incorporates advanced foreign optical sensing technology, offering stable quality, rapid response time, and superior performance. It features compact size, lightweight, and easy installation, making it ideal for flame detection, gas monitoring, and release system detection. The FZH Series Flame Detectors utilize advanced technology, selecting imported sensors and detectors based on microprocessor technology. They provide standard outputs of flame and fault relays, as well as optional 4-20mA analog output. The FZH Series Flame Detectors can function as standalone devices for direct alarms or to drive field instruments. Additionally, they can interface with various fire control panels, PLC controllers, DCS, and EDS systems. Widely used in power, oil, chemical, and offshore oil platforms, the FZH Flame Detectors effectively ensure personal safety and protect national property from damage, earning high praise from customers.

    Section II: Principle

    During the combustion process, combustible materials emit visible light, infrared, and ultraviolet light at different frequencies or wavelengths. In the combustion of gas and heavy oil, the flame emits a significant portion of ultraviolet light, followed by visible light and infrared. During the combustion of coal or coal powder, the flame emits a significant portion of infrared light. Below, we describe the working principles and application scenarios of the different sensors in the FZH series flame detectors:

    The FZH-1 type ultraviolet flame detector (UV) employs high-sensitivity imported sensors to rapidly detect most flame emissions within this spectral range. The advanced design features anti-photometric interference capabilities, primarily applicable to hydrocarbon flames. The detection range extends to 500 feet for a 1 square foot gasoline flame. Moreover, the company has developed flame detection systems suitable for heavy residue oil applications.

    Applicable to situations such as furnace chambers, torches, explosives, heavy residual oil, storage areas, dust, etc.

    The FZH-2 type infrared flame detector (IR) determines the presence or absence of flames by detecting infrared radiation alone, simultaneously measuring specific infrared frequencies, and then integrating and stabilizing on the circuit to achieve alarm output functions. The infrared flame detector is also capable of withstanding complete sunlight interference, particularly suitable for high-pressure hydrocarbon flames with high concentrations of oil and gas, as well as environments with floating particles. The detection distance is 150 feet for a 1 square foot gasoline flame.

    Appropriate for environments such as paint spray workshops, offshore oil platforms, and high-pressure gas facilities.

    The FZH-3 UV/IR Composite Flame Detector is composed of a UV and an IR import sensor. These two detection units simultaneously detect different spectral regions, perform intelligent recognition, and make a comprehensive judgment. An alarm signal is only output when both probes detect flame. Since the two sensors do not have a common alarm source, false alarms caused by factors such as arc light, X-rays, and thermal moving objects, which may affect either the UV or IR detector individually, have no impact on the FZH-3 UV/IR Composite Flame Detector. It features a liquid crystal display, menu adjustment, and self-diagnostic capabilities. It is suitable for situations where single-frequency UV or IR false alarms may occur. The detection distance is 300 feet for a 1 square foot gasoline flame.

    Applicable to: refined oil storage areas, compressor pump rooms, gas manufacturing plants, petrochemical factories, offshore oil platforms, and oil pipelines, etc.
