Project Details: Utilizing the Xianbo Intelligent Variable Frequency Energy-Saving System for air compressors, the retrofitting achieves a 20% energy-saving rate, resulting in an annual energy cost savings of 200,000 yuan.

The company produces high-conductivity, low-oxygen bright copper rods (Cu-FRHC) and bright high-conductivity copper wires with diameters below 2.6 mm using direct utilization technology of recycled copper; its construction project has been listed as a 2009 resource conservation and environmental protection project by the national government and awarded the title of "China's Demonstration Base for Direct Utilization of Purple and Mixed Copper" by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, making it a leading benchmark enterprise in the domestic direct utilization of recycled copper.


The existing state of the air compressor: There are four air compressors in the existing pipeline, each operating independently and controlled by the outlet pressure individually; they are typically running 24/7 during working hours and require manual management for start and stop; there are no monitoring measures for the air compressor operating parameters. Frequent loading and unloading of the air compressors lead to unstable gas supply and energy waste.


Post-renovation status: Two air compressors have been retrofitted with the Xianbo Energy-saving XBZD-KY Variable Frequency Energy-saving System, achieving a comprehensive energy-saving rate of 20%.

Operation Status: Since the renovation, there have been no safety issues, no additional wear and tear on the air compressor itself, and the energy-saving control system requires no manual management. It automatically switches to full-programmed operation upon startup.

Economic Benefits: Following the renovation, the actual test results show that the annual benefits amount to 250,000 kWh of electricity. At the local average electricity rate of 0.9 yuan, this translates to an annual savings of 200,000 yuan in electricity costs for the company.
