To safely operate an electric rock loader, not only must you control it correctly, but you must also prepare properly before starting to drive to avoid unexpected situations during operation. So, what should the editor prepare today to ensure the rock loader operates normally?
1. Conduct a thorough cleaning of the work environment, removing all support and ceiling bottles.
Before operating the electric rock loader, water should be sprayed to rinse the top of the gangue or coal pile.
3. Install fixed wedges and hang the tail wheel. On a work surface elevated 800-1000mm above the rock (coal) pile, wedge-shaped holes are drilled, with the number of holes depending on the tunnel width. The spacing between holes is approximately 1 meter, and the depth of the holes should be 50-100mm longer than the wedge-shaped holes, inclined downward by 5-10 degrees. After inserting the wedges, position the air drill or electric coal drill and the water-hose pipeline at the work surface. First, insert the wedges into the holes, then insert the tight wedges, and finally, use a hammer to secure them. First, hang the tail wheel in the middle wedge-shaped ring, and prepare the rock in the middle of the electric rock loader's post.
4. Inspect the orientation wheel and tail wheel suspension for correct and secure installation. The pulleys should rotate smoothly, and the wire ropes should not show signs of wear or breakage beyond the specified limits, and be neatly arranged on the drum. The tension between the brake bands should be appropriate.
Ensure that the guide rail is securely fastened, and the driver's side distance from the tunnel wall is no less than 700mm.
6. Ensure the lubrication oil levels are appropriate and there are no leakage issues. Electrical equipment that has been dampened by water should be properly covered on the ceiling.
Electrical Rock Drilling Machine
Before operating an electric rock loader, a thorough inspection and tuning of its operational status is required to enhance driving safety and ensure the loader can be operated normally by the driver. Additionally, we remind everyone that after work, the rock loader should be parked in the designated area to maintain its readiness for the next operation, allowing for a smooth startup.
