In order to enhance the cooling efficiency of the chilled water system and ensure the stable operation of the entire unit, the glass fiber cooling tower must be used safely and efficiently for as long as possible. In addition to conducting regular basic inspections and cleaning, it is crucial to perform the following maintenance tasks on a regular basis.

Fiberglass cooling towers are used with water-cooled chillers. For cooling towers equipped with belt drive reducers, inspect the belt tension every two weeks; adjust if necessary; replace the entire set if some belts have different tension levels; if the cooling tower is not in use for an extended period, it's advisable to remove and store the belts.

The fiberglass cooling tower primarily utilizes a gear reduction unit during operation. Therefore, it is essential to check the oil level in the gear box monthly; if the oil level is insufficient, it must be topped up. Furthermore, the cooling tower's oil should be inspected for color and viscosity every six months of operation; if the oil fails to meet the standards, it must be completely replaced. After the cooling tower has been in use for a cumulative total of 5,000 hours, regardless of the oil's condition, the gear box must be cleaned, and new lubricating oil must be更换 to ensure a continuous supply of chilled water to the refrigeration unit.

Glass-fiber cooling towers typically feature equipment that occupies a relatively small space, yet within this compact area, they can accomplish the same workload, thereby delivering the same level of cooling efficiency.

Cooling towers are more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly compared to traditional refrigeration equipment, and they produce less noise during operation. These units also offer superior corrosion resistance and a longer lifespan than traditional products.
