Calcium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, also known as Agricultural Emulsifier 500#, is primarily used for preparing mixed agricultural emulsifiers. It is suitable for agricultural emulsifiers, as well as textile oil agents, ceramic cleaner, abrasive oil, cement dispersants, and more. The product is obtained by reacting molecular sieve dewaxed oil with chlorine to produce chlorinated alkanes, which are then condensed with benzene to form dodecylbenzene. The dodecylbenzene is sulfonated with fuming sulfuric acid to produce dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid, which is subsequently neutralized with lime to yield the final product. Ingredients and quantities: Kilogram/Ton - Molecular sieve dewaxed oil 560, Pure benzene (95%) 350, Fuming sulfuric acid (SO3 20%) 550, Lime 200.
Calcium dodecylbenzenesulfonate acts as a detergent and dispersant in diesel, engine oil, supercharged diesel, and engine oil. This product is a key component of a mixed emulsifier for compounded organic chlorine, organic phosphorus, herbicides, and other agricultural emulsions. It serves as an anionic surfactant and can also be used as an agricultural emulsifier. When mixed with non-ionic surfactants, it forms a mixed agricultural emulsifier, widely used for preparing organic phosphorus and organic chlorine agricultural emulsifiers. The product is toxic and may irritate the skin. It is used in industries such as dyeing, painting, textiles, and printing.
