Improvements have also been made in the quality of welding. Prior to the spinning of the elliptical head, a detailed inspection of external environmental defects is conducted, selecting a more suitable welding method. This can effectively enhance the physical properties of the welding at the joint, reducing the area of thermal damage.
Why does an ellipsoidal head require a locking device?
The elliptical head with a locking mechanism includes a cylindrical slope, conical slope, spherical slope, and clamp. The cylindrical slope of the new product is interconnected with the bottom of the conical slope, the top of the conical slope of the new product is connected to the spherical slope, and the edge of the cylindrical slope of the new product is equipped with a clamp. The clamp of the new product is threaded to the cylindrical slope. Through these methods, the elliptical head with a locking mechanism of this product features a compact structure, strong head connection characteristics, high reliability, and durability.
The ellipsoidal head includes an upper inclined edge, a cone, and a lower inclined edge. The cone of the new product connects to the upper inclined edge and lower straight edge of the new product, respectively. At these connections, the upper inclined edge and the cone form a transition slope, as does the lower inclined edge with the cone. The cone of the new product has a 60° taper. This ellipsoidal head is advantageous for collecting and discharging solids-containing materials, featuring a small taper, strong load-bearing capacity, even distribution of load, and good luster. The presence of the transition slopes makes the inclined edges less prone to cracking, making it suitable for the rear covers or reducers of chemical equipment.
