Definition of Variable Frequency Water Pump

1. Variable-frequency water pumps are based on standard water pumps. Standard water pumps refer to pumps without any automatic control devices, consisting only of the pump head, motor, and base. They operate when powered on (domestic standard power supply: single-phase 220/50Hz or three-phase 380V/50Hz) and stop when the power is turned off. Standard water pumps do not refer to a specific type of pump; they can be centrifugal pumps, pipeline pumps, vortex pumps, multi-stage pumps, and other commonly used pumps.

2. A variable-frequency water pump is essentially a water pump that is supplemented with one-way valves, air tanks, variable-frequency drives, constant pressure water supply controllers, sensors, and other pipeline valves or electrical components to form an automatic and pressure-holding variable-frequency water supply unit. The input power supply for a variable-frequency water pump can be single-phase 220V/50Hz or three-phase 380V/50Hz, but the motors for variable-frequency water pumps are generally three-phase.
