Stay away from noisy appliances, crowded and loud areas with a lot of people, construction sites, factories, concerts, KTVs, and the like.
If you often live in a noisy environment, try to keep your windows tightly closed or use soundproof windows to reduce outside noise from entering.
3. Implement sound-absorbing materials indoors to reduce echo and decrease indoor noise (carpets, fabrics, acoustic foam, etc.).
4. For those engaged in noise work: Conduct regular occupational health examinations to monitor hearing changes, enabling early detection of hearing damage and timely implementation of effective measures; Patients with auditory system diseases should refrain from noise work; Patients with occupational noise-induced deafness should be transferred from noise-exposed positions.
5. Enhance Personal Protection: Properly Wear Ear Plugs and Muffs. Studies indicate that the damage to hearing from noise is related to exposure time and intensity, with insufficient wearing time often being a key factor in protective failure. Employees in a workplace are required to wear earplugs or muffs for 8 hours, and the ear protection devices they use should have a rated noise reduction value of 30dB.
