A waterway refers to the navigable channels established or designated (including constructed) in rivers, lakes, seas, and other water bodies for the passage of vessels. Waterways are equipped with navigation aids to ensure safe navigation. They are categorized into different classes, each with specific requirements for water depth, width, curvature radius, and the clearances above the water surface (clear height and clear span). Waterways can be divided into natural waterways and artificial waterways. Depending on the usage conditions, they can also be classified as mountainous waterways, plain waterways, canalized waterways, harbor approaches, and economic waterways, among others.

To further standardize the maintenance management of buoys and improve the quality and level of channel maintenance, in accordance with the previous work deployment, a meeting was held on September 8th to arrange for the standardization of buoy colors and naming identification. The spirit of the document "Notice on Standardizing the Appearance Dimensions, Colors, and Naming Identification of Buoy (Floating Buoy) in the Yangtze River Channel" was carefully studied, and in conjunction with the actual situation of the section channel, the arrangements for the painting maintenance of marking vessels and the production of buoy identification were made.

To protect marine ecological environments and fishery resources, and to achieve sustainable development while meeting the demand for various seafood products, marine fish farms have emerged. Generally speaking, a marine fish farm refers to an artificial fishery established within a designated sea area for the planned cultivation and management of fishery resources. As the research and construction of our marine fish farms become increasingly mature and scaled, there is an urgent need for real-time and effective monitoring of environmental information and biological activity states in marine fish farms to manage them rationally. Currently, information monitoring for marine fish farms primarily includes the following methods: one is a mobile ship at sea, which is convenient to use but cannot continuously monitor various data and information; another is an underwater platform connected to a shore-based monitoring system via cables, suitable only for deployment in close proximity to the coast, and most can only monitor underwater information while failing to integrate surface environmental information effectively. In light of the technical challenges in the existing methods that make it difficult to monitor marine fish farm information in real-time and efficiently, no effective solutions have been proposed yet.
