Jacking technology is a non-open-cut pipeline construction method used in municipal construction. Its advantages include minimal impact on the surrounding environment, small construction site, and low noise. Moreover, it can perform underground work at greater depths, which is an advantage that excavation and burial cannot match. However, there are also drawbacks to jacking technology, such as longer construction time and higher project costs. Below, the editor introduces the working principle of Liaoning's jacking technology.
The working principle of Liaoning pipe jacking:
The jacking construction method, which has developed following the shield construction method, is a type of underground pipeline construction that does not require excavation of the surface layer and can cross over highways, railways, rivers, ground buildings, underground structures, and various underground pipelines. The jacking construction relies on the thrust from the main jacking cylinder and intermediate chambers between the pipes, pushing the tool pipe or tunneling machine through the soil layer from the working well to be hoisted into the receiving well. At the same time, the pipeline follows the tool pipe or tunneling machine, buried between the two wells, to achieve the construction method of non-excavation pipeline laying underground.
