The jacking technology is a non-open-cut pipeline laying construction method used for municipal construction. Its advantages include minimal impact on the surrounding environment, small construction site, and low noise. Additionally, it can operate deeply underground, a benefit that cannot be matched by excavation burial pipelines. However, there are also drawbacks to jacking technology, such as longer construction time and higher engineering costs. Below, the editor introduces the principle of Liaoning jacking technology.
Liaoning Pipe-Jacking's Principle:
Trenchless pipe jacking is an underground pipeline construction method that has developed following the shield tunneling technique. It requires no excavation of the surface and can cross over highways, railways, rivers, above-ground buildings, underground structures, and various underground pipelines. Utilizing the thrust from the main jacking cylinder and intermediate chambers between the pipes, the tool pipe or tunneling machine is pushed through the soil layer from the working shaft to the receiving shaft, where it is hoisted. Concurrently, the pipeline following the tool pipe or tunneling machine is also buried between the two shafts, aiming to achieve non-destructive underground pipeline installation.
