Considering the benefits of warehouse racking, I believe many companies would agree that an increasing number of companies have either implemented warehouse racking or are planning to do so. However, how can one efficiently and effectively plan for warehouse racking? This requires a comprehensive consideration of various factors such as the warehouse space, inventory, and forklifts.

1. Height Accumulation
The design of the warehouse racking system meticulously considers the usable height of the warehouse, which is the distance from the lower obstructions at the top of the warehouse (such as lighting systems) to the bottom, not the overall height of the warehouse. This is crucial as it affects the efficiency of forklift operations. Additionally, the stacking height of goods on each level is also taken into account, directly impacting the safety of product storage and the determination of storage space dimensions, thereby reducing product loss rates.

2: Forklift Safety Walkway
When planning the warehouse racking, the warehouse area is divided into two sections, with the middle serving as the crane's operational safety lane. The sides are occupied by the crane racks, and the operational width between racks is taken into account. This includes the crane's turning radius, the smallest turning radius of the crane's operational safety lane, the front overhang distance (from the center of the front wheel to the forklift), the length of the cargo (200mm), and the safety lane width. The smaller the safety lane, the less convenient the operation, and the higher the requirements for the forklift driver.

2: Shelf load-bearing capacity
When planning warehouse racking, determine the weight of the racking, ascertain the load capacity of each shelf, and ensure the entire rack has a maximum load limit. In this regard, the country has a recommended safety factor standard, which is not mandatory. Generally, the higher the safety factor, the longer the shelf life, but the cost will increase accordingly. The company should design and select based on the actual situation.
