Screen printing, also known as silk screening, consists of five key elements: the screen, squeegee, ink, printing table, and substrate. The basic principle of screen printing involves using the open mesh areas of the screen to pass ink through, while the solid areas do not. During the printing process, ink is poured onto one end of the screen, and the squeegee applies pressure to the inked areas. As the squeegee moves evenly towards the opposite end of the screen, the ink is forced through the open mesh areas and onto the substrate.
