Stainless steel hexagonal tubes are hexagonal (hexagonal steel pipes) made from stainless steel, also known as stainless steel special-shaped tubes. This category includes octagonal tubes, diamond-shaped tubes, elliptical tubes, and other shapes. 304 stainless steel is a general-purpose stainless steel material with better corrosion resistance than the 200 series stainless steel materials and better heat resistance. Stainless steel is a material widely used in human life and many construction projects. However, the quality of stainless steel depends on the quality of the raw material. Below, we will discuss how to identify low-quality steel.

1. Defective steel often develops scabs on its surface. This is due to two reasons: 1. The material of defective steel is uneven and contains a high amount of impurities. 2. The manufacturers of defective steel have crude guiding and protecting equipment, which easily causes steel to adhere. These impurities, when caught in the roller, tend to form scabs.

2. Defective materials often exhibit cracks on the surface due to their clayey raw material, which has numerous air pores. During the cooling process, the clay is subjected to thermal stress, causing cracks to form. These cracks become visible after rolling.

3. Defective steel is prone to develop folds. Folds are various lines on the surface of the steel, and this defect often runs the entire length of the product. The cause of the folds is due to inferior manufacturers' pursuit of efficiency, with excessive pressure applied, leading to the formation of lumps. During the next rolling process, these lumps result in folds. When the folded products are bent, they tend to crack, significantly reducing the strength of the steel.

4. Inferior steel often exhibits a rough surface, characterized by unevenness and irregular indentations on the steel's exterior. This roughness is caused by severe wear in the rolling groove, resulting in an uneven surface texture. Due to the pursuit of profit by manufacturers of substandard steel, there is often an excessive use of rolling grooves during the rolling process.
