When using Baker vacuum pump oil vacuum pumps, what precautions should be taken? Vacuum pumps are fundamental equipment for achieving vacuum, capable of operating independently or as a primary pump and pre-pump in various high vacuum systems. They are not suitable for removing gases that are corrosive to metals, react chemically with pump oil, contain particulate dust, have an excessive oxygen content, or are explosive.
Vacuum pumps should be used with the following precautions:
Pump intake ports should remain open to the atmosphere continuously for no more than three minutes.
2. Pumps are not to be used as compression pumps or conveyance pumps.
3. Safety Precautions for Using Baker Vacuum Pump Oil in Vacuum Pumps: The pump's operating environment should be maintained within a temperature range of 5℃ to 40℃, with a relative humidity not exceeding 90%, and an inlet pressure below 1333Pa, under which the pump is allowed for long-term continuous operation.
When connecting power, follow the wiring instructions on the motor label, and ensure the motor's rotation direction matches the arrow on the bracket.
5. The diameter of the continuously piped container should not be less than the pump's intake diameter, and the pipeline should be short with minimal bends, while also being mindful of any pipeline leaks.
6. Prior to each startup, emphasize checking the oil level, aiming to fill oil to 4/5 of the glass diameter of the oil gauge when stopping the pump.
