Description:
Fiber Bragg GratingFBGBy utilizing the photosensitivity of optical fiber materials, the incident light coherent field pattern is written into the fiber core through ultraviolet light exposure, creating a periodic change in refractive index along the fiber core axis, thereby forming a spatial phase grating. Its function essentially creates a narrowband (transmission or reflection) filter or mirror within the fiber core. When a broad-spectrum light beam passes through the fiber grating, wavelengths that meet the fiber grating Bragg condition are reflected, while the remaining wavelengths continue to transmit through the fiber grating.
