(I) Structural Features and Functions

The QZ series ball-type supports are composed of an upper support plate, a lower support plate, a convex intermediate plate, and two plates of polytetrafluoroethylene in different shapes. The center of the lower support plate features a concave spherical surface, corresponding to the convex intermediate plate. There is an arched polytetrafluoroethylene plate between them, which allows for rotation at the end of the beam through sliding and seeking beauty. The stainless steel plate on the upper support plate and another polytetrafluoroethylene plate on the intermediate steel plate form a sliding surface, completing the expansion and contraction displacement of the beam due to temperature differences and other reasons.

The QZ spherical bearing boasts reliable force transmission, consistent rotational performance in all directions, and flexible movement. It not only has the features of a large bearing capacity and significant horizontal displacement like the盆式橡胶支座, but also better adapts to the need for large rotation angles, making it suitable for wide bridges and curved bridges. As the pressure-bearing parts do not use rubber components, there are no issues with rubber brittleness at low temperatures, making it particularly suitable for cold regions.
