The structural principle is fundamentally the same as that of non-disassemblable heat exchangers, but the channels can be opened for cleaning, with flanged ends for sealing. Particularly suitable for liquid-liquid heat exchange involving sticky or sediment-containing fluids, as well as gas-liquid and steam condensation. Due to the need for additional components like flanges, the equipment cost is slightly higher than that of non-disassemblable heat exchangers.


The fundamental parameters of the removable (Type II, III) spiral plate heat exchangers include the nominal pressure PN, which follows the specifications of 0.6, 1, 1.6, and 2.5 MPa (equivalent to the original 6, 10, 16, 25 kg/cm²), indicating the maximum working pressure of a single channel. The test pressure is 1.25 times the working pressure.


The material for the contact part of the spiral plate heat exchanger with the medium is carbon steel Q235A, Q235AF, and stainless acid steel SUS321, SUS304. Other materials can be selected according to customer requirements. The allowable working temperature is: for carbon steel, t=0~+350°C; for stainless acid steel, t=-40~500°C. The temperature and pressure reduction range is in accordance with the relevant regulations for pressure vessels. When selecting this equipment, appropriate process calculations should be made to ensure the fluid in the equipment channel reaches turbulent flow. (Typically, liquid velocity is 1m/Sec, and gas velocity is 10m/Sec.)


 Single units may not meet the application requirements, but can be combined in multiple units. However, it is necessary to comply with the following rules when combining: Parallel combination: The distance between devices and channels is the same. Series combination: One channel is in parallel, and the other is in series.
