The building housing cast bronze sculptures must be kept dry, dust-free, and free of air pollutants. The temperature should be between 18℃-24℃, with a relative humidity of 40-50%.
Be cautious of harmful chemical reactions from contact with copper craftwork, such as acids, oils, and chlorides. When handling copper art pieces, wear cotton gloves and avoid direct contact with your hands to prevent corrosion from sweat. Also, do not wrap them in paper or boxes that are greasy.
Dust on cast copper sculptures should be wiped away with a clean, soft cloth. For delicate details that are prone to breakage or damage, gently brush with a soft bristle brush, or use a vacuum cleaner to suck up or blow away the dust.
To prevent mechanical damage to brass sculptures and handicrafts, they should not collide with each other, should not be stacked, and for intricately crafted and fragile brass items, careful maintenance is required.
Brass sculptures may develop a dull appearance after prolonged display, depending on the environment. To restore their shine, gently wipe them with a soft, cotton cloth. This method serves as a polishing action.
