Railway signaling cables are specialized cables used for transmitting railway signals, audio signals, and control circuits for automatic signal devices. They have a rated voltage of AC 500V or DC 1000V and below, and are suitable for environmental temperatures ranging from -40℃ to +60℃. The cables feature comprehensive sheath and aluminum sheath screening structures, making them suitable for environments with strong electrical interference, such as electrified sections. The bending radius of non-armored cables is not less than 10 times the outer diameter, while that of armored cables is not less than 15 times. 。
Utilizing Features
The cable's operating temperature range is -40℃ to +60℃.
(2) The long-term working temperature of the cable conductor should not exceed +70°C.
Cable laying environment temperature: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) sheathThe jacketed cables should not be below 0℃; the polyethylene jacketed cables should not be below -20℃.
Cable allowable bending radius: Non-armored cables should not be less than 10 times the cable's outer diameter; armored cables should not be less than 15 times the cable's outer diameter.
(5) The ideal shielding coefficient for composite sheathed rail signal cables should be ≤0.8; for aluminum sheathed rail signal cables, the ideal shielding coefficient should be ≤0.3.
Cables with a delivery length of 500 meters or more should account for at least 50% of the total delivery length; for short sections of cables between 50 to 250 meters, the delivery length should not exceed 5% of the total delivery length; the measurement error for cable length should not exceed ±0.5%. Delivery of cables according to lengths agreed upon by both parties.
