The installation method for stone railings typically includes the following steps:
Preparation before Installation:
Measure installation dimensions and confirm the required fence area.
Select the appropriate stone and accessories, purchase the required materials.
Prepare essential tools, including measuring instruments, angle rulers, wrenches, electric drills, hammers, saws, etc.
Installation of subgrade stone:
In certain installation scenarios, the laying of sub-base stone is required. The choice of sub-base stone should match the railing material.
Clear away dirt and debris from the base layer, ensuring the foundation is clean.
Run a string to establish the centerline and edge lines, then lay the base stones along the lines.
Pile installation:
Clear debris from the floor at the pier position, project the edge line of the pier on the ground, project the center line of the pier on the side of the pier base, and locate the center point of the pier position.
Hollow drill a hole at the center, the depth determined by the floor thickness, typically 125px to 200px (about 5 to 8 cm).
A matching hole should also be drilled at the center of the pedestal base, slightly deeper in depth.
Fill the two holes with stone adhesive (such as AB glue) or cement slurry, insert the reinforcing bar, then align the holes on the pier with the reinforcing bar, and securely set the pier in place.
Check if the edge of the pillar is precisely at the marked position, slightly adjust, secure the pillar, then fill the gap between the ground and the base of the pillar with stone adhesive and clean up any excess.
Fence and railing installation:
Posts and railings are typically pre-drilled and grooved before installation. During assembly, simply apply stone adhesive to the interface between the railing and the pier, then install from bottom to top, step by step.
Install beam and guardrail:
Drill holes in the stone and secure the beams and guardrails with expansion screws.
Inspect and Adjust:
Inspect the installed fence for any loose fittings and adjust as necessary.
Final touches:
Clear the installation site and ensure the environment is clean.
Please note that the above steps are general installation procedures, and the specific installation steps may vary depending on the style, size, and installation environment of the stone railing. During the actual installation process, please follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and recommendations to ensure the quality and safety of the installation.
