When cultivating grass flowers, one of the main concerns is the issue of premature wilting. As a professional grass flower cultivation and wholesale sales base, our company is committed to preventing early wilting. Let's learn together about the methods to prevent grass flowers from wilting prematurely.
One, select high-quality potted ornamental flowers that are in full bloom and at their prime during the holiday season for reserve. These must be robust with lush green leaves and no withered blooms, and the varieties should have a long blooming period. Examples include dwarf petunia, dwarf cockscomb, scarlet sage, marigold, coleus, chrysanthemum, pansy, celosia, chrysanthemum, dahlia, kale, morning glory, carnation, ground cover carnation, daylily, iris, red rose, "Little Beauty" canna, ivy; rhododendron, cyclamen, and others.
During the flowering period, ensure the pot plants are adequately fertilized. From the bud formation stage to the blooming stage, water the plants once a week with a dilute solution of cake fertilizer mixed with 0.1% borax and 1/10 well-rotted chicken (or pigeon) manure.
One to two days before the grass flowers are ready to be harvested, apply a dilute manure water mixture containing 800 times the 34% pentachlorophenol powder or 150 times the 14% multifunctional water solution to prevent root diseases. For grass flowers in the early blooming stage, apply a nitrogen fertilizer by watering with a dilute manure water mixture containing 2% urea.
