The characteristics of nozzles are primarily manifested in the type of spray, which includes the shape formed when the liquid leaves the nozzle mouth and its operational performance. Nozzles are named based on the spray shape, such as fan-shaped, conical, liquid column flow (i.e., jet), air atomization, and flat nozzles; among which, conical nozzles are further divided into hollow conical and solid conical types. The naming of Venturi nozzles (i.e., mixing and stirring nozzles), strong cooling (hot) air outlet nozzles, and specialized nozzles (such as garden nozzles, tank washing nozzles, pipe cleaning nozzles, etc.) reflects their operational performance.
