The China National Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, themed on the Chinese wisdom in urban development, showcased the cultural spirit and temperament of "the Crown of the East, the Prosperous China, the Granary of the World, and the Wealthy People." The exhibit focused on the theme of "Seeking," guiding visitors through three zones: "Eastern Footprints," "Journey of Seeking," and "Low-Carbon Actions," where they discovered and appreciated the Chinese wisdom in urban development. After the Expo, the pavilion was renamed the Chinese Art Palace.
