The watercourse, primarily used in various hydraulic and water conservancy projects, utilizes an opening and closing mechanism for the gates. The steel gates are known for their high strength, simple construction, ease of maintenance, affordability, long lifespan, and straightforward installation, ensuring reliable operation.
The gate is primarily composed of three main parts:
① The main activity section, used for closing or opening apertures, commonly referred to as a gate, also known as a leaf.
② Grouting section;
③ Gate Equipment
The event includes components such as panel beams, weighing structures, supporting walking parts, guide and water stop devices, and lifting ears. The embedded parts consist of main rails, guide rails, pivot seats, lintels, sill plates, and water stop bases, which are set around the holes and securely connected to the concrete of the hydraulic structures with anchor rods. These parts form supports and water stops on the gate leaf, allowing the transmission of water pressure and other loads from the gate leaf structure to the hydraulic structures, ensuring excellent gate water stop performance. The operating machinery is connected to the lifting ears of the gate leaf to control the position of the moving parts, although some gates rely on hydraulic automatic control for operation.
