Structural features:
A. This product is divided into two types: puncture type and non puncture type (stripping insulation layer). It mainly consists of an insulation cover, wire clamping aluminum alloy fittings, composite insulators, arc starting rods, and lower steel feet. The structure is shown in Figure 1.
B. The arc rod and wire clamp are assembled and connected as a whole. When a lightning strike occurs, flashover discharge is caused between the arc rod and the lower steel foot, forming a short-circuit channel. The continuous power frequency arc moves between the arc rod and the steel foot and burns to protect the wire from burns. Due to the arc rod bypassing the umbrella skirt and adjusting to the optimal discharge gap, the discharge effect is better and the insulation umbrella skirt is prevented from being burned out.
C. The FEG-12/5 model has a puncture type tooth structure, with detachable teeth that can be used for peeling or non peeling purposes. Stinging teeth are made of copper alloy with higher strength and better electrical performance than aluminum. The surface is treated with electroplating to prevent oxidation during copper aluminum bonding, so that both copper and aluminum circuits can be used. Puncture type does not require stripping the insulation layer of the wire, avoiding water ingress and corrosion of the wire core. Installation and construction are extremely convenient, which can reduce the labor intensity of operators.
E. Insulators made of composite materials have better insulation performance than PS-15 and other electric porcelain insulators, and their creepage distance is larger, which improves the anti pollution level of insulators and can meet the anti pollution requirements of a large number of users for insulators.
F. The insulation shield is made of silicone rubber material, which has good insulation performance, anti-aging performance and flame retardant performance.
G. A unique structure has been considered to prevent birds from causing short-circuit hazards to overhead wires.

A. The wire clamping slot of lightning protection post insulator shall be installed on the cross arm in the parallel direction of the conductor, and the steel foot nut shall be tightened, which is the same as the traditional insulator installation method, and the arc striking rod shall face the far outside of the cross arm (far away from the cross arm); The arc rod should be oriented in one direction, preferably towards the load side;

The puncture type wire clamping method is to set the torque value of the torque wrench according to the wire cross-section and weather temperature: 26-32Nm, and use the torque wrench to alternately and symmetrically tighten the two pressure nuts. Check with the naked eye and make sure that the root of the teeth is barely visible. Then tighten the backup nut to prevent the pressure nut from loosening.
C. The non piercing clamping method is as follows: strip a section of insulation wire of about 65-80mm and embed it into the insulator clamping fixture. Use a wrench to tighten the clamping nut and drive the clamping block seat to tighten the wire; The insulation shield is assembled on the outside of the wire clamp fittings
