SK Series Water Ring Vacuum Pump Product Introduction:

The SK series water ring vacuum pump and compressor are used to pump or compress gases and other non corrosive, water-insoluble, and solid particle free gases, in order to create a vacuum or pressure in a closed container and meet the requirements of the process flow. A small amount of liquid is allowed to be mixed in the inhaled or pressurized gas.
The SK series water ring vacuum pumps and compressors are widely used in industries such as machinery, petroleum, chemical, ceramics, sugar manufacturing, printing and dyeing, metallurgy, and electronics. Due to the fact that the compression of gas by this type of pump is carried out in an isothermal state during operation, it is less prone to danger when compressing or suctioning flammable and explosive gases, making its application more widespread.

Structure description of SK series water ring vacuum pump:

The structure of SK series water ring vacuum pump is shown in Figure 2, Figure 3, and Figure 4.
The pump is composed of pump body, two end caps, impeller, shaft and other components. The intake and exhaust bamboo are connected to the pump chamber through the suction holes and sample holes installed on the disc on the end cover. The shaft is eccentrically installed in the pump body, and the impeller is fixed to the shaft with a flat key. The total clearance between the two ends of the pump is adjusted by the pad between the pump body and the disc. The clearance between the impeller and the disc on the end cover is adjusted by pushing the impeller with the shaft sleeve (SK-1.5/3/6) or the back cap (SK-12/20/30). The shaft above SK-42 has an interference fit with the impeller, and this clearance is determined by the front end positioning SK-42-60-85-120 has no shaft sleeve, and the rest of the structure is the same as SK-6/12/20/30. The gap between the two end faces of the impeller and the end cover disc determines the magnitude and ultimate pressure of gas loss during the flow from the inlet to the outlet in the pump chamber.
The packing is installed inside both end caps, and sealing water enters the packing through small holes in the end caps to cool the packing and enhance the sealing effect. The supplementary water required for the impeller to form a water ring is supplied by the water supply pipe, which can be connected to the air-water separator for circulating water supply.
The sealing form adopts mechanical seal, which is installed in the packing cavity and the packing is omitted. Replace the packing gland with a mechanical seal gland, and keep the rest of the structure the same.

A disc is installed on the end cover, which is equipped with suction and exhaust holes and rubber ball valves. The function of the disc is to discharge the gas before the exhaust port when the gas pressure between the impeller blades reaches the exhaust pressure, reducing the power consumption caused by excessive gas pressure and thus reducing power consumption.
