A valveless filter is a low-investment filtration facility with minimal valve components, self-regulating operation, and no need for additional flushing pumps or water towers. It primarily controls the formation and destruction of siphons through the automatic regulation of the pressure difference between the inflow and outflow, achieving continuous automatic operation and is available in two types: gravity-driven and pressure-driven. Its advantages include: fully automatic operation, easy management, cost savings on large valves, lower construction costs, a water level above the filter layer, and no negative water head within the filter material layer during the filtration process. The disadvantages are: the flushing tank is located above the filter, resulting in a taller overall height of the filter, a more complex pool structure, and lower output, making it unsuitable for large-scale thermal power plants.
