Bauer ring packing
The Baole ring packing consists of creating two layers of rectangular small windows on the wall of a standard Raschig ring, with the window leaves overlapping at the center of the ring. The positions of the upper and lower window layers are staggered, thus reducing resistance and increasing gas velocity. The liquid phase distribution is even, allowing for a 5% or more increase in throughput compared to the Raschig ring at the same pressure drop.
Application and Applicable Conditions
Suitable for contact media in carbon dioxide degassing towers, ozone contact reaction towers, and other reactions.
