Introduction to Steel Grating
Steel grating, also known as steel grating panel or grating board, is made by welding flat steel and twisted steel. Durable and cost-effective compared to other products, steel grating is primarily used in power plant platforms, parking lot platforms, maintenance platforms, trench covers, and tread plates. It is also used in environmental protection equipment and wastewater treatment. Steel grating is widely applied in platforms, walkways, trestles, covers, manholes, ladders, fences, and more in various fields such as petrochemicals, electricity, water supply, wastewater treatment, ports, construction, shipbuilding, self-propelled parking lots, municipal engineering, and environmental engineering.
Stainless Steel Grating Covers
Stainless steel channel grating, also known as stair tread plate, steel stair tread plate, or stair tread, is a type of stairboard used for platforms. It can be installed using either welded or bolted connections, with the welded tread plates being directly welded to the stair beam.
Overview
Welded fixed tread plates, directly welded to the ladder beam; no need for side plates for the tread plates, more economical in cost but not easily removable. For bolted tread plates, thicker side plates are required, with holes pre-drilled on the side plates for direct bolt installation, allowing for reuse and recycling. Customers can customize according to their specific needs, with suitable steel grating panels available to be made into various sizes to match the corresponding staircase.
Features and Applications
(1) The installation of the step board is very simple, no complex installation required.
(2) Excellent ventilation, lighting, heat dissipation, explosion-proof, and anti-slip properties.
(3) High strength, lightweight construction, and durable step boards.
(4) Extremely easy to maintain and prevents accumulation of dirt.
Tread plates find extensive use in platforms and walkways of power plants, water treatment facilities, and in municipal and environmental protection projects. They are also commonly employed in large-scale areas such as theaters, visitor platforms, and parking lots.
