I. Overview
This equipment is suitable for industrial and municipal water treatment systems that require filtered water turbidity of generally 5 mg/L or less, capable of meeting drinking water quality standards. It effectively removes suspended particles, aggregated sheet-like materials, silt, iron, manganese, and adhesive colloidal particles that cannot be removed by sedimentation methods through the filter layer in the pressure filter, resulting in clear water. It also exhibits excellent removal effects for suspended particles and solid matter in industrial wastewater.
This product offers two types of water intake selection: a single-layer filter material filter is suitable for raw water with a turbidity of around 100 mg/L, which has not been treated with coagulation and sedimentation (note to shorten the operating cycle or reduce the filtration speed when using raw water with higher turbidity), and this filter should add coagulant before use. A double-layer filter material filter is applicable to sediment water with a turbidity generally below 15 mg/L, not exceeding 20 mg/L.

Quartz Sand Filters (Sand Filters), Activated Carbon Filters (Carbon Filters), Multi-Media Filters, Iron and Manganese Removal Filters (Manganese Sand Filters), Fiber Ball Filters, Hair Filters.
III. Working Principle
Mechanical filters utilize one or more filtering media to pass the raw liquid through under pressure, thereby removing impurities and achieving the purpose of filtration. The filling materials commonly used inside are quartz sand, anthracite coal, granular porous ceramic, manganese sand, etc. Users can choose the appropriate materials based on their specific needs.
Mechanical filters primarily utilize packing to reduce water turbidity, retaining and removing suspended particles, organic matter, colloidal particles, microorganisms, chlorine odor and taste, as well as certain heavy metal ions, thereby serving as one traditional method of water purification that produces clean water.
