The strength of the load-bearing capacity for epoxy resin and composite epoxy resin cable trays is crucial to the reliability and durability of the structure, serving as a significant basis for structural design. In actual use, besides the cable load and self-weight of the cable tray, other loads such as the following should also be considered:
1. Outdoor cable bridge supports must account for wind, rain, or ice loads, and in earthquake-prone areas, inertial loads should also be considered.
2. Cable trays, in addition to withstanding normal mechanical loads, should not be used as pedestrian walkways in principle. If they are required for pedestrian walkways or other uses, special designs for this purpose should be negotiated with the user.
3. In the design of cable tray load, it is not only necessary to consider the vertical load but also the longitudinal and lateral loads that exist during installation and use (such as the longitudinal pulling force generated during cable laying, and the lateral load produced when a ladder leans against the tray).

V. Technical requirements for epoxy resin and composite epoxy resin cable trays
The structural design is rational, featuring advanced technology, attractive appearance, smooth surface, consistent thickness, high mechanical strength, easy installation, and resistance to corrosion and aging.
The bridge channel is made of epoxy resin composite material, lined with a metallic framework. The shape of the metallic framework matches the cross-section of the cable bridge. It is made of cold-rolled steel plate with a thickness of 1.5-2.0mm (for 150≤B≤300: 1.5mm, for 400≤B≤800: 2.0mm). The metallic surface must undergo special treatment and include a soft bonding layer to prevent delamination between the metallic framework and the main anti-corrosion layer due to different thermal expansion coefficients.
The bridge supports are coated with a primary corrosion-resistant layer over the metallic frame, with an average thickness of 1.5mm-2.0mm and a density of 1.7-2.0g/cm³.
The main anti-corrosion layer must be externally protected with a high-density, damage-resistant layer that reflects ultraviolet rays, featuring a smooth and aesthetically pleasing surface to enhance the aging performance and service life of the cable tray.
The inner lining is made of fiberglass fabric, woven from triple-zero (no alkali, no wax, no twist) glass fibers.
The filling material is made of lightweight aluminum hydroxide to reduce its own weight, thereby enhancing the load-bearing capacity of the cable tray.
Rack any end face, connection surface, and connection holes are equipped with anti-corrosion and anti-high-force measures.
The main anti-corrosion layer, bonding layer, and protective layer must be formed in one hydraulic molding process.
