Description

Company specializes in: Demolition, repair, reinforcement, corrosion prevention, beautification, installation, painting of navigation marks, color rings, painting, and coating of all types of chimney water towers—a full range of high-altitude engineering projects. Safety and speed in construction, expert craftsmanship, competitive pricing, and commitment to integrity and agreements. We sincerely look forward to partnering for mutual success!

Chimney painting and coating, as well as beautification work for navigation buoys, typically involve two methods of operation, both requiring high-altitude climbing. These methods include ascending to the top of the chimney or a platform, followed by the use of either (1) high-altitude suspended ropes or (2) high-altitude installation of baskets for the execution of chimney anti-corrosion projects.

Key Safety Points for High Altitude Anti-corrosion Work Construction

Chimney corrosion prevention construction requires familiarity with the professional technology of this trade and all safety regulations.

2. Must be 18 years of age and pass a physical examination before engaging in high-altitude work. Individuals with high blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy, and other conditions unsuitable for high-altitude work are prohibited from climbing.

3. Elevated more than 2 meters above ground level, with an inclined working surface greater than 45 degrees, where the working ground lacks a stable foothold or is prone to vibration, should be classified as high-altitude work.

4. Protective gear must be worn properly, pants legs should be tucked in, a hard hat must be worn, and smooth-bottomed shoes are not allowed. A safety belt with sufficient strength is required, and the rope should be tied to a solid building structure or metal frame, not to any moving object.

5. Prior to climbing, the construction supervisor should conduct on-site safety education for all personnel.

6. Inspect all climbing equipment and safety gear (such as helmets, harnesses, ladders, ramps, scaffolding, guardrails, safety nets, etc.), ensuring they are safe and reliable. Absolutely no risk-taking operations are permitted.

7. Mark off restricted areas on the ground in high-altitude work zones and hang up warning signs such as "No Trespassing" and "Prohibited Access."

8. Prior to working near power (low voltage) lines, contact for power outage. Work can only be performed after confirmation of the outage, and insulating barriers should be set up. Workers must stay at least 2 meters away from the power lines (low voltage) and it is prohibited to work under high voltage lines.

9. Tools, parts, and materials used for high-altitude chimney anti-corrosion construction must be stored in a tool bag. When ascending or descending, hands should be empty, and movement must be along the designated route; materials or tools should not be thrown from heights. It is prohibited to stack tools or materials that are prone to roll or slide on scaffolding. After completion of the work, all objects that can fall, including tools, materials, and parts, should be cleared away promptly to prevent injury from falling. When handling large components, reliable lifting equipment should be used.

10. Always be vigilant of hazard signs and areas. Adequate lighting must be provided for night work; otherwise, construction is prohibited.

11. Strictly prohibited from performing vertical work simultaneously at both levels. In case of special circumstances requiring vertical work, prior approval from relevant leaders is required, and a protective shed or other isolation facilities should be set up between the two levels.

12. Absolutely no resting on elevated areas without guardrails to prevent falls.

13. Deck boards over 3 meters in length are not suitable for two persons to work on simultaneously.

14. Walkways, ramps, gangways, and transportation tracks should be kept clean at all times.

15. High-altitude work is prohibited outdoors when winds exceed level 6.
