Copper Cutting:
One of the metals used by humans. As early as the prehistoric era, people began to mine open-pit copper mines and used the obtained copper to manufacture weapons, tools, and other vessels. The use of copper had a profound impact on the advancement of early human civilization. Copper is a metal found in the earth's crust and oceans. Its concentration in the crust is approximately 0.01%, and in some copper ore deposits, it can reach 3% to 5%. In nature, copper is mostly present as compounds, known as copper ores.
Copper sheets exhibit excellent mechanical properties and good machinability, capable of withstanding both cold and hot pressing processes. They are used for various structural parts in cutting and stamping operations, such as washers and bushings. Copper sheet cutting devices are used in the industry for cutting copper sheets. There are many types of copper sheet cutting devices available, but most can only be cut with tools, lacking plasma cutting capabilities, which cannot meet diverse demands. Some devices can slide along the guide plate to the receiving plate at the end of cutting, and the receiving plate's stopper features a cushioning layer. However, relying solely on rubber or foam cushioning, the buffering capacity remains limited, and copper sheets may still sustain significant impact forces and get damaged. To address these issues, we propose a new copper sheet cutting device.
