2、 Function
The three-phase separator is an important device in high-efficiency anaerobic reactors, mainly installed in UASB reactors or third-generation high-efficiency anaerobic reactors for the treatment of high concentration organic wastewater in food, chemical, and aquaculture industries. It is a key equipment in organic wastewater anaerobic biological treatment reactors. It can effectively achieve three-phase separation of gas, liquid, and solid.
3、 Function
1. Can collect the biogas generated from the reaction chamber under the separator, and achieve almost complete separation of gas and liquid, reducing the impact of rising biogas on the sedimentation effect of effluent;
2. Fully separate the granular sludge from the effluent of the reactor and return it to the reactor to maintain sufficient sludge concentration.

4、 Structural principle
The three-phase separator mainly consists of components such as a base gas collection hood and a water collection tank. In the reaction tank, wastewater enters from the bottom of the sewage cement bed and mixes with the sludge in the sludge bed. Microorganisms decompose organic matter in the wastewater to produce biogas, and tiny biogas bubbles rise during the upward process, continuously merging and gradually forming larger bubbles. Due to the strong agitation generated by the rising bubbles, a suspended sludge layer is formed in the upper part of the sludge bed. The mixture of gas and cement rises into the three-phase separator. When the biogas bubbles hit the reflection plate at the lower part of the separator, they are effectively separated and eliminated by turning towards the gas chamber. The sludge and water enter the sedimentation zone of the three-phase separator through the pores and gaps. Under the action of gravity, the clear night of water and sludge separation is discharged from the upper part of the sedimentation zone, and the sludge in the lower part of the sedimentation zone returns to the zone along the inclined wall.
