I. Features and Advantages
The measurement is unaffected by the following factors:
Liquid density, degree of looseness for solid materials
Temperature
Powder added during mixing
Foam on the surface of the liquid has no effect on the measurement.
The coaxial rod probe measurement is unaffected by the internal structure of the tank and the installation of short pipes.
Replaceable probe rods and cables
HART or PROFIBUS-PA communication protocols and Foundation Fieldbus protocols, with easy calibration and field calibration operations easily achieved through a digital LCD display, simple configuration setup and programming via software AOPF
Measurement Principle
The waveguide radar is a measuring instrument based on the time-of-flight principle, where radar waves travel at the speed of light; the running time can be converted into level signals by electronic components. The instrument measures the distance from the reference point to the material surface, the probe emits high-frequency pulses that propagate along the cable, and when the pulses encounter the material surface, they are reflected back and received by the instrument's receiver, converting the distance signal into a level signal.

Section 2: Inputs
The reflected pulse signal travels along the cable to the instrument's electronic circuitry, where a microprocessor processes the signal to identify the echoes produced by microwave pulses on the surface of the material. The correct echo signal identification is performed by intelligent software, and the distance D from the surface of the material is directly proportional to the pulse travel time T: D = C × T / 2, where C is the speed of light.
Since the distance to the empty cans, E, is known, the level, L, is: L = E - D
III. Output
Set by entering the empty tank height E (= zero point), full tank height F (= full scale), and some application parameters. The application parameters will automatically adjust the instrument to the measurement environment. Corresponds to a 4-20mA output.
