Two-phase flow (expansion valve) is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly product. During the operation of thermal power units, to improve the efficiency of the steam system and ensure the safe and economic operation of steam equipment, it is necessary to enhance the quality of steam as much as possible. This equipment can be used in the steam drum of boilers, high and low heaters of steam turbines, and is compatible with a variety of other equipment such as evaporators, heat exchangers, and continuous blowdown expansion vessels.
Overview
In industries such as electricity, oil, chemicals, coal, and metallurgy, many equipment achieve the purpose of controlling liquid levels by adjusting the flow rate at the outlet. Traditional level controllers are mostly mechanical float ball, electric, and pneumatic types. These types of controllers often have drawbacks such as being麻烦 to adjust, low sensitivity, and high error rates. Some have had to be manually adjusted, increasing the labor intensity. Others have experienced loss of control, leading to operator errors and posing severe threats to the equipment, with significant economic losses.
In recent years, in collaboration with the Institute of Thermal Power Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, we have developed a new type of liquid level automatic controller based on the two-phase control theory of vapor-liquid. This controller successfully replaces the old equipment, allowing for technical upgrades on the old equipment's foundation and also serves as a matched selection for various design and research institutes. The automatic controller is suitable for use with boiler steam drums, high and low-pressure heaters of steam turbines, evaporators, heat exchangers, and many other equipment.
