Product Overview
The AZC series intelligent capacitors are the new generation of reactive power compensation equipment for 0.4kV, 50Hz low-voltage distribution systems, designed to save energy, reduce line losses, improve power factor, and enhance power quality. They consist of an intelligent measurement and control unit, a thyristor composite switch circuit, a line protection unit, and two common compensation or one separate compensation low-voltage power capacitors. They can replace conventional automatic reactive power compensation systems, which are typically composed of scattered components such as fuses, composite switches, mechanical contactors, thermal relays, low-voltage power capacitors, indicator lights, etc., interconnected by wires inside and on the cabinet surface. They feature a smaller size, lower power consumption, easy maintenance, long service life, and high reliability, meeting the higher requirements of modern power grids for reactive power compensation.
The AZC series intelligent capacitors utilize a fixed LCD display to show three-phase bus voltage, three-phase bus current, three-phase power factor, frequency, number of capacitor circuits, switching status, active power, reactive power, total harmonic voltage distortion rate, and capacitor temperature. Through an internal thyristor composite switch circuit, it automatically finds the appropriate insertion (removal) points, achieving zero-crossing switching, and is equipped with overvoltage protection, phase-loss protection, over-harmonic protection, and over-temperature protection.
Feature Highlights
1 Zero-crossing switching
Achieve zero-voltage switching on and zero-current switching off, with minimal inrush current, reducing the impact of current surges.
2 Phase Compensation
Achieve single-phase individual compensation, compensating any phase with significant reactive power deficiency individually, to achieve an optimized compensation effect.
3 Temperature Protection
Overvoltage, over harmonics, and excessively high working environment temperatures can cause capacitors to overheat, reducing their lifespan. AZC seriesIntelligent capacitors, equipped with built-in temperature sensors, enable temperature measurement of the capacitors. In case of excessive temperature, the intelligent capacitors in use are automatically disconnected to prevent overheating.Protection.
4 Phase Protection
When phase A, B, or C is missing in the power grid, the corresponding unused smart capacitor bank will not be put into operation, and the corresponding smart capacitor bank that is already in use will be disconnected.Operational.
Overvoltage and undervoltage protection
When the grid voltage exceeds the set value, the corresponding intelligent capacitor bank automatically shuts down to prevent damage caused by prolonged overvoltage operation of the capacitors. When the grid voltage falls below the set value, the corresponding intelligent capacitor bank automatically shuts down to protect the equipment.
6 Voltage and Current Harmonic Protection
When grid harmonic reaches the set value, unconnected intelligent capacitor banks will not be connected, and connected intelligent capacitor banks will be disconnected from operation to prevent harmonic overvoltage.Major equipment damage occurred during the manufacturing process.
