Product Name: Rivet Nut
Standard: PEM Standard
Material: Carbon Steel 10B21/SUS304 Stainless Steel
Surface Treatment: Galvanized/ Cleaned
Customizable: Yes
Product Features: The rivet nut, also known as the self-locking nut, is a type of nut used on thin plates or sheet metal. It has a circular shape with one end featuring embossed teeth and a guide slot. The principle involves pressing the embossed teeth into the pre-set holes of the sheet metal. Generally, the diameter of the pre-set holes is slightly smaller than that of the rivet nut's teeth. Pressure is then applied to force the teeth into the plate, causing the edges of the pre-set holes to deform plastically. The deformed material is pushed into the guide slot, thereby creating a locking effect.
Product Advantages:
Standard tools are used for quick and easy installation.
2. Excellent tensile and torsional properties
3. Easy to install without deformation, backside can be flush with the workpiece plate surface, suitable for sheet materials 0.6mm and above
4. Advantages of rust and corrosion resistance in stainless steel material
